This story of the loyalists to the crown and the rebels who opposed them in the name of freedom is worth telling.
We gladly award our Dove "Family-Approved" Seal to this film, and encourage patriots, lovers of history, and families which long to see a wholesome film to see this movie.”

Viewer Feedback"My kids and I watched the movie Sybil Ludington recently. As a home schooling parent, I’m especially interested in films that are based on true stories, particularly on the subject of history, a subject in which my kids sometimes struggle. I, honestly, was not familiar with this chapter of the Revolutionary War, so this film taught us ALL something. Sybil Ludington’s story is especially inspiring to young kids as they see a peer demonstrating great courage and persevering against great odds to serve a cause bigger than herself. I also appreciated the Ludington family’s strong faith, so evident amidst adversity. I pray I can be a strong, godly leader to my wife and kids like Colonel Henry Ludington and that my kids can be courageous and faithful Christ followers like Sybil and her siblings."

Humility, Religion, and the Media
Pastor Kim's Blog
You may ask, how does the media, religion, and humility have anything to do with each other? God wants us to be well established and rooted in His word and His ways. It is God’s plan for His church to uphold His word. First and foremost, that takes humility. Laying down your plans, and your ambitions doesn’t necessarily come that easy. We all know the people of God are not perfect, but we have the liberty of God's word to set us free and to preach to others.
James 1:25-27, tells us,
“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
There is a move in the media industry. The tongue is not bridled, hearts are deceived, and purity has ceased. We as Christians can embrace it, uphold it, tolerate it, or move after God’s plan and design through the church. We cannot look into the ‘perfect law of liberty’, (God’s word and His way of doing things) and ignore what we see or especially what He has defined as right and wrong. To be brave enough to live humbly and walk away from secularism and humanism is a must. If we live as Christians, we must come to terms that now is the time to realize that the media industry is a platform that preaches its message to everyone. This includes the family, the individual, as well as the ‘fatherless and widows in their affliction’.
It is time that we uphold God’s truth and not tolerate another Gospel for our entertainment needs. Especially the needs of our children. I can boldly say it is time to put our actions, our money, and our passion behind ‘doing the work’ of God's perfect law of liberty and to embrace His way of doing things. As Christians, it is time to embrace and propel God's word through the media industry He is raising up through His church and not through secular society!! In Christ there is much more and if we as Christians embrace another gospel, we are deceiving ourselves. We are in a season for change and revival. It is time to be 'unspotted from the world' which includes the philosophies they embrace and preach. To live fully persuaded in God's word and God's way of doing things will pay off by 'life' and the 'blessing' of God, abundance and His purpose and design. Step in and step out. The river of God's word runs deep! His way of doing things brings the kingdom blessing to not only you but your family.
